NENDO GOES SPAZIO PONTACCIO
Spazio Pontaccio paid homage to the unmistakable creative flair of the “designer of the year” Oki Sato and the Japanese studio Nendo. The crystal glass creations designed by Nendo and produced by Glas Italia were protagonists of the milanese Showroom for one week during September.
It was a Première and a unique occasion to appreciate these masterpieces of creativity and craftsmanship, after the success of the exhibition at the Museo della Permanente in Milan on the occasion of last Milan’s Design Week. Incomparable proofs of concept that show the quality of crystal, of those who interpret it and work it.
Following the success of the show and since ever followers of Nendo’s work, Alberto Pellini from Spazio Pontaccio and Lorenzo Arosio from Glas Italia decided to realize this project, to give the chance to the lovers of one of the most admired and awarded designers of the current international scene to see again and to buy Nendo’s works.
Oki Sato was the special guest of the opening night, an event that rounded up the most important international designers and an audience of evaluators.
The completeness of the works on show was exalted by the emotional and dream-like atmosphere of the display, as well as by the poetical feature of the impressive project of Oki Sato’s team.
